It is an IA fundamental that to “forgive” does not mean to make the wounds of the past okay, nor does it mean to invite them to repeat.
Forgiving is the process by which we free ourselves from the never ending need to be on the alert for possible reocurrances and to reassign the resources devoted to our trip-wire defenses which overact whenever we feel a potential threat may have been identified.
It also results in our being more aware of the limiting factors at work in our present reality and gives us the courage to reembody those dreams which “had to be” set aside.
You know there is more to you and for you in the world. This is an opportunity to put your sleeping dogs back to sleep – and to take pride in how far our lessons have been carried.
